Privacy notice
Chalk Bluff Electrical · Effective September 27, 2026
The short version
- We never sell your information. Not to anyone, for any price, ever.
- We use it only to assess your project and to respond, quote, schedule and do the work you ask us about.
- No cookies, no tracking. Our website and this request form set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- Encrypted in transit. Everything you send travels over an encrypted connection.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us in a request: your name, email, phone number and preferred way to be contacted; the property address; a description of the work, the kind of project, budget and timing; notes about permits or an HOA; photos, sketches or plans you attach; and the names and email addresses of anyone you list as already involved (such as an architect or realtor). We also record the date and time of your request. We do not collect payment card numbers through this form.
Why we use it
This is a private project-request system for Chalk Bluff Electrical. We use your information to understand and assess your project, prepare an estimate, reply to you, schedule visits and carry out and invoice the work if you hire us. We do not use it for advertising, we do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not build profiles about you.
Who handles it
Your request goes to our office and the people who work on your project. JackKnife AI operates this system for us as our service provider, under a contract that allows it to use your information only to run our office and never for its own purposes.
To do the work, a small number of service providers process only the information each needs, only on our behalf: our email and text-message delivery services (to reply to you), our payment processor (only if you pay an invoice online), and the software tools that help us read requests and prepare estimates. To check a property, we look up its public parcel, zoning and permit records using the address. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing or for advertising.
We contact the people you list as involved in your project only with your permission.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, such as a valid court order.
How long we keep it
We keep project records for as long as we need them for your project, our warranty, and the tax, licensing and building-permit records the law requires us to keep. If you do not go ahead with a project, you can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by contacting us at the contact details on our website. We respond within 30 days, and we never treat you differently for asking. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we extend them to everyone.
Because we do not track visitors, we treat every visit as a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control request: there is nothing to turn off.
Children
This service is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We will not use information you already gave us in a new way without asking you first.
